Cellist, Composer, and Conductor from Houston Texas and current student at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, Aidan is a musican for both the academic and the every-man.
As a cellist, Aidan regularly performs music from the Renaissance to the Post-Modern, including his own works, in and around Glasgow and Houston. He has won prestigous awards including Second Prize in the Lynn Harrell Competition, Overall Winner of the Charles R. Hall Competition, and First Place in the OPYO Concerto Competition.
Aidan has premiered his own Piano Trio No. 1 in Glasgow as well as a Collection of short pieces for Cello and Piano. Upcoming works include the Symphony Apocalypsis, Harrison Bergeron Suite, and Suite in the Old Style for String Quartet.
Aidan is current conductor of the SCPSO and guest conducts student groups in and around Houston.
As director of the Society for Creative Progress, Aidan aims to move society, through the arts, towards something greater and more beautiful.
